I Like this rutgers team. Ray Rice is a absolute beast who could (and maybe should) win the Heisman trophy. But more important to this team than Rice's performance so far (we already expected this from rice) is quarterback Mike Teel. He is lighting it up this year. You turn on Sportscenter all you see is Teel to Underwood, who, by the way, is all-american wideout. That defense is solid too.
TO ME, They are the most talented team on both sides of the ball besides LSU. Which leads me to my point. They can beat West Virginia (who is overrated to me; no defense) and Louisville (again no defense). If they are undefeated at the end of this season, DO THEY DESERVE A SHOT AT THE BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP?

If they're one of 2 undefeated teams, then yes they should play for the National Title. If they are one of a group of 3 or more undefeated teams (USC, LSU and Oklahoma all have a chance to win out) then Rutgers wouldn't fit in the National Title picture. The schedule they play just isn't up to par - even with WVU and Louisville - because as you said those teams are overrated.

I do not think they do. They play a much easier schedule than a team like LSU or USC. Rutgers hardest games are WVU and Louisville, and the teams in there conference are easier. LSU plays 5 ranked teams and they have to play Florida (3), plus there division is much harder. USC plays in a much more challenging division also. The Big East has become a mediocre division, and needs some better teams.

I agree with satchmo...I'm a K Stater and when Rutgers kicked our butts in bowl play their fans were all over our chat rooms and Myspace groups calling us their "bicthes" etc. Just the same as OU Sooner Fans. ( BOOOOOO ) Rutgers is a talented team, but doesn't get much favor in bcs polls. I felt TCU should have been ranked top 10 a few years ago too. Keep supporting your team and tell your fellow fans to ease up, we know we got beat BAD...isn't that enough?

Chelsea's a large team and that they are having a great season so a approaches. I rather have alot of admiration and appreciate for them. yet as a Liverpool fan i'm chuffed for our a million-0 win the day in the past at present. data are there to be broken and Liverpool are customary for breaking alot of them. Liverpool have been surprising and are rather call contenders finally. Beating the two maximum useful communities interior the League is a large start up for the Reds besides the undeniable fact that it is nonetheless early to make predictions. guy United are customary for comming back stable later interior the season. Liverpool would desire to shop this up and not draw too many suits like final season. i think of they are in a position to do it. go Reds!

It depends. Rutgers is a Big East team. the Big East isn't a very well known football confrence although it has schools like Louisville, West Virginia, and Pitt. if they flat out destroy their confrence foes, they deserve it. but the Big East has enough talent that that's not gonna happen. Thier Non-Confrence schedule is weak. if there are 3 undefeated teams at season's end, Rutgers isn't end. if there are less than 3, Rutgers is in.

They will not beat WV or Louisville this year. Rutgers is a very good team and will be in a nice bowl and probably win.

Not this guy, weak schedule, weak conference and worst fans ever.
Anyone who swears and jeers at Navy football players and alums is a huge jackass, and on that note, Rutgers fans are huge jackasses and should be ashamed of themselves.
Rutgers can go play ohio state and then they can take turns lighting themselves on fire.

the big east sux as a conference, a bunch of pretenders. ray rice wouldnt get a single headline if he played in the SEC.
any undefeated or 1 loss team from the SEC or the BIG12 should be in the BCS title game before a team from a marginal conference.

I'm sorry, their fans are much too obnoxious to allow Rutgers to play in a national championship.
