Last year, the Discovery Channel's Nigel's Wild Wild World listed the top ten stinky animals and the skunk got second place. Here's the complete list
1. Tasmanian Devil
2. Skunk
3. Hyena
4. Turkey Vulture
5. Wolverine
6. Musk Ox
7. Stink Bug
8. Beaver
9. Fox
10. Porcupine
On this list as you can see, the Tasmanian Devil received first place for being the most stinky. They emit a foul odor when they get stressed out.

If not us, the civet cat.
If not the civet cat, whales vomit a material called "ambergris" that, quite honestly, smells like the saltiest water smell in the world mixed with some month-old tuna.

Hippos are definitely stinkier than heyenas. You can usually smell hippos before you see them. They live in small pools of water, in which they spray their dung at each other to assert dominance. Basically they marinate all day in poop soup, so when they get out, they reek.
