I SERVED, and I'll be the first to call John Kerry a coward and a traitor. Purple Hearts don't come from band-aid scratches, which is all Kerry got. After his return, he demonstrated against the war, throwing his medals over the white house fence (Medals he now proudly displays in his office, as if he still had a right to wear them after throwing them away), and testified before congress to alleged war crimes that were based on fantasy.

In doing this, he demonstrated a lack of unity on the part of America for the war effort, and thereby lent aid and comfort to the enemy, giving them hope that if they held out long ebnough, America would fold and leave. IN WAR, YOU MUST REMOVE ALL HOPE FROM THE ENEMY. No army today can stand against the US army in combat. The only thing that keeps the enemy in the field is hope. If you are demonstrating, you are prolonging the very war you are trying to end. END THE WAR NOW! Quit giving the enemy any hope of winning, and he will give up!

Or do you want to belong to a country that loses to a bunch of untrained towel-heads? The USA is the varsity, folks, and you liberals are trying to call it quits in a fight against the water-boys for the third-string. Get a grip, and get together with America! PRC47 GRUNT is 100% correct, and if I'm not mistaken, he only spent 4 months in Vietnam. What happened to the other 9 months? It requires 3 Purple Hearts in the same conflict to to earn the option to go home...am I right? You couldn't get 3 PH's in 13 months let alone 4. Yup, there's something fishy about Kerry.
