The Constitution does not provide a "free speech zone." The practice instituted by Bush of doing that is unconstitutional. People have the right to say what they please where they please.

According to The Constitution, laws are passed and regulations are allowed to be made.

This FREE SPEECH ZONE is just one of those.

No matter how much you complain, you're not going to change it.

Hey Crabby----this Free Speech Zone was in effect long before Bush. It was instituted by the Secret Service as a security measure for the President. When Clinton came to my hometown back in the 90's they had one.

Sometimes 5 miles away - like shown at the G8 summit, but that was in a foreign Nation

In America you have more of a freedom to speak - but you can't say anything during the event unless you have approved air time or you will be tazered or arrested.

Free speech is a vanishing right - if it doesn't go along with the New World Order - they will tread upon your rights!

If liberals are in the free speech zone, I would say about one mile from any conservative event.
