This is one hilarious question for me, in light of the Q I just asked, AND because when I vote for BA or cruise other answers, I often skim past the grey profiles... but I have to tell you.. some of the most amazing answers and questions come from the greys... do NOT dismiss them!
Also, I love the fact that they are so mysterious... you cannot even tell what SEX they are! I like that because they refuse to be judged upon looks or images.

Question is most important, but I hesitate if there isn't an avatar. It makes me think they're new, and I associate new with bad past experiences. But it's only a moment's hesitation, I'm sure they have their reasons for not having an avatar. (Might be harder to do that at work than typing out answers/questions is....)

I don't care about the avatar, although, a cool one does get my attention first. I am more concerned with the style of the questions, that are asked. Peace!

Nah I dont pay much attention to the avatar..its the question that is most important. I do hate it when ppl are too lazy to put an avatar though...

I'll pretty much answer whatever question I find interesting enough for me to answer whether the person has an avatar picture or nothing at all.

Avatars are irrelevant to me. It's all about the question. Do you resist questions that are filled with many grammar/spelling errors, SUPER long, or not really questions? Those are the ones I don't answer.

Not really, I just figure they haven't had time to try on an avatar or maybe they like being just a shadow in our world.

i never used to look at the avators I only go for the questions ,
But lately i check who asks and also who answers ,politics and war have leeched into the Environment ,
like the poisenous sludge from a land fill into the carbon aquifers

I am more of a question kind of girl. If it is naughty or funny I am almost always going to answer it no matter what the avatar looks like. ;-)
