some times it depends on the issue. im called conservative by some people and a liberal by others depending on the subject being talked about. most people use the two terms as a bad word instead of calling you dumbass. can you be liberal and be against abortion can you be conservative and be for social security. most people are a mixture but get labled by others when they disagree on an issue

The legislating of acceptable behavior is done by the left, that is democrats, not conservatives. Also, "eavesdropping" is directed as those individuals living in the US with ties to known terrorist individuals or organizations abroad. Do you mean you believe that to be a bad idea? Don't get suckered in by the left wing drivel about listening in on the conversations of 300 million Americans. It is just typical leftist nonsense.
In any event, conservatives believe that the rights and liberties of the people hold sway over the actions of the government. Leftists believe the exact opposite--that the government (ruled, of course, by themselves) grants to the American people any rights or freedoms they may have. It's very simple. And very scary to think that, with the 24/7 help of the mainstream media, Hillary might actually have a chance to be president.

There's 4 major sections of the modern day politic scheme.
Republican
Democrat
Liberal
Conservative
While most Democrats are stereotypically a liberal, you also find some that are Conservative, and others that sway a little bit on both ends of the spectrum.
And while most Republicans are thought to be conservatives, you can find some liberals in the midst, as well as some that are on both ends of the spectrum, just like Democrats.

I am a conservative. I have freedom of political speech. I think those on the left are "left wing liberal loonies," a term I made up. I like it. I will use it any time I think it appropriate.
Conservatives don't insist on eavesdropping. That is what is commonly called a lie.
Conservatives advocate less government, which means we are opposed to the government interfering in private lives. On this point I think you are being disingenuous.
"Conservative" is a political philosophy. "Democrat" is the name of a political party. On this point you seem confused: like comparing apples and oranges.
Conservatives and conservative Democrats probably agree on political philosophy.
The way liberals are behaving in the US, these days, it is appropriate to characterize them as socialists.

There are some true ones out there from both parties, but this place is filled with Fascists and Socialists. That's one of the reasons I don't spend much time here.

I don't consider neocons or theocons to be conservative. They're what destroyed the GOP and led to this fiasco that pretends to be "conservative" these days.
Real conservatives - please take your party back.
