Time and a combination of letting go and/or forgiveness heals most wounds but not all. Some wounds are so deep, they go with us to the grave.

sometimes the wounds don't ever really heal, they just scab over . i've answered a couple of questions on YA which have opened up old wounds. i think they will maybe heal now.... being exposed seems to have cleansed them...... only time will tell.

If you allow it to, most wounds heal in time.
Some however continually get re-opened and some never heal.
I am speaking from experience.
