Every year, an undefeated team gets cheated out of the national title b/c not enough sportswriters or whoever voted for them. i think that the top 6 teams should have a little playoff period. Then people won't complain who is in the BCS championship.

I agree that Division I-A football should have a playoff system. Division I-A teams should no longer play any I-AA teams. The ranking system should be eliminated. Conferences should be realigned based on geography into 8 or 16 conferences. Most will stay basically the same but new rivalries could be started. The team with the best record in each conference would go into the playoffs. Games would start in early December and the championship game would be played on or around New Year's Day.

top 6 wont work at least top 8 would be a 3 week playoff or 16 would be 4 or 5 weeks depending on if there is a by week

they should do it like the Division 1 Championship Subdivision. let the bowl games draw from the teams that don't make the playoffs. there are plenty of decent teams left. and GET COMPUTERS OUT OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep playoffs are the way to go but don't look for it any time soon Networks already have multi-million dollar contracts for the certain bowl games and they want to keep it that way

a lot of people think that.
but as soon as your favorite team is ranked number 7 in your little situation, you're going to claim they got cheated
you can think a playoff system is the way to go....that's fine
but don't for one second think that it's going to stop people from thinking their favorite team got screwed.

They need to play a sixteen team round robin tournament. the way they pick the champ now is ignorant!!!
