Republicans is general like to hoard money and use it to elect people like Bush who then gut the government of its ability to regulate and thus protect everyday workers and their families from people who are selfish, greedy and just plain crooked rich, like in Enron and "Bush's boys".

Why do you think that a lot of rich people have money in Swiss banks? Can you point to a reference that backs this up?

One big reason. They don't have to pay taxes on the money, or the interest. I even heard Greenspan himself say he has money invested in other countries. If everyone in the US paid the taxes that they should, the middle class would not have to pay more than their share. The rich know ways of getting around taxes.
