I suck when it comes to studying for a test. I need some ideas on how to study and make the information stick. I read the material and notes over and over, but it doesn't really stick. What can I do?

Miss Tee, Writing it out works for me. It helps reinforce the memory.

How about studying with a friend or sibling or even the dreaded parent. Use flash cards if you can. Talking out loud and bouncing ideas/questions/thoughts someone else can make it stick much better.

Try this. When you study, have a notebook and pen in front of you. When you come to something that needs to be highlighted in your memory, WRITE IT DOWN. Your notebook will eventually become your "shortcut" for studying.
