We are all jealous to an extent. Jealousy is not necessarily between couples, it can be of the neighbor's new car, or someone's success. Jealousy comes in all forms. You might think someone is getting a better deal than you. I'm definately jealous of these last lotto winners! Sometimes I'm a little jealous of how these soldiers are treated upon returning from war than how I was treated, but wouldn't have it any other way. Jealousy and envy are first cousins you know.

That's such a wide open question. I guess everyone is answering about relationships. "Am I jealous about my lover spending time with others?" No. I trust my lover completely. She knows who is the most special to her, and she gives me the same trust in return.
"Am I jealous when people have things I wish I had?" A little sometimes, not that I don't want them to have everything they desire, but there are times I wish I had little things in life, just for a moment, and then I count my blessings for all the things I DO have and forget about the things I don't.

Generally, no.

My view is that jealously doesn't show how much you care about a person. Jealousy shows how insecure your partner makes you feel. Jealousy shows that you don't fully trust either your partner, or the members of the opposite sex that they are in constant contact with. If these feelings don't subside. Or you've mentioned it to your partner and they continue to give you reasons not to trust them... Then perhaps it's time to think about ending the relationship.

Not overly no. I have this attitude..adults can make up their own minds and have the freedom to choose. Sure I can get a tinge of green every now and then, but if I have to fight to 'prove myself'..then it may not be worth it after all.

Not most of the time. I sometimes get miffed when people make a big deal over a little kid when my granddaughters are right there, too.
