No. I don't support six guys beating one guy, regardless of the motivation. The Jena Six should be punished. Good luck. 2D

I'm going to. Basically what happened is that town is still segregated, which amazes me. Last fall a student asked if he and his three black friends could sit under the "white-only" tree to eat lunch. The teachers told them to sit wherever they want. The next day three nooses were hanging from the tree. Long story short the whole town erupts into racial violence, but the charges handed out have been grossly in favor of white people. For example, three white students jumped a black student, and got charged with misdemeanor assault. The Jena 6 are six black students who jumped one of the white guys involved in that assault. They beat him up, yes. He spent two hours in the hospital, and was at some social function that night where friends report that he seemed fine. But the six guys who jumped him are being charged with second-degree attempted murder. It's a grossly extraneous charge, and these kids could go to jail for half their lives.

2D, if you bothered to research the topic, you'd know that statements to police support Mychal Bell's innocence, and that nobody could name more than one or two alleged attackers. Try to do some research next time before you instantly judge someone as guilty.

Well I'm not trying to be a smart *** or anything, but how will wearing a certain color change what happened or make it better?... The people who did whatever still think the way they do. And about a week from now nobody will care... Maybe I didn't the memo.
