in order to help out the other persons score it has to be attached to their social. otherwise you are just letting them help/hurt your score... when you do attach it to their social then everything you've done on the card with affect their credit.... late payments from last year.... over the credit limit... (good things too) low apr... on time payments.... all of it... you can also put someone on your card and not give it to them (if you are just doing it to boost their score)... a lot of parents do this for their kids 18+....(its called babying credit).... but like others have said... if this person abuses your card then it will reflect negatively on your credit.... (and at no fault until you remove them)... good luck!

Depends if the user fulfill the responsibilities of paying your credit card off in the timely and financial arrangements made by the credit card company only then your credit card score will raise. It would not raise their credit score it is your card...I believe the creditor would not like for you to loan out your card, they trusted you and only you with their line of credit.

It would not affect theirs, as authorized user information will no longer be included in the credit score. It could lower your score though, as authorized users tend to burn you, leaving you with unpaid debt to deal with.

No it will n ot lower your credit score! However, it will help the other person establish their credit. (It's kind of like a good deed for the other person)!

It depends on the card. As long as they make payments on time it won't affect your score, but if their social security number isn't attached then it won't affect theirs either.

It depends. If they abuse your card, they will bring your score down. If they treat it right, they will improve it.
