I want a small plant that isn't too much trouble...one I can leave on vacations and not worry about...I already have a lucky bamboo plant.

Any kind of philodendron will usually do well in an office - they're hardy. You can set them on the table or hang them.

Aloe Vera--known also as Mother in laws tongue! Because of the sharpness of the leaves! And also known as snake plant!! Will remind people not to gossip in the office or slither around suggesting vicious lies.

I have a Catus , I bought it in AZ have had it for 2 years now. Right on my desk. I water it 1 every 6 months, just a little water.

Ivy is always a good choice. You can water it before you leave on ONE week's vacation. Any longer and someone will need to water it for you.

If you have natural light in your office an orchid would look beautiful. You have to let them dry out in between waterings so if you won't be around for a week or so, it won't matter.

Honestly...Air Fern....can't kill it unless you put it in a zero oygen atmosphere...
It's the one plant those of us with a "brown thumb" can grow!
