In the US we have freedom of speech. There is no crime in speaking you mind. Anyone who deprives me of my right is the criminal.

Not in the Western countries, but in places like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Pakistan....
Yes, it is a crime!
