I believe that love and commitment towards one another is the only thing that is important. Whether that love is for someone of another race, religion, nationality, or even your same gender, it should not matter.

My daughter asked me the same question. I have no problem with racially mixed marriages, and I would support my daughter if the man for her is of a different race. As she was growing up, I taught her to use good judgment, and I trust her judgment. My concerns that loom larger than race are: Is he kind? Is he dependable? Does he have strong character? Does he practice the teachings of Jesus?

No civilization worth talking about was ever the product of a *pure* race. The purest people in the world are typically the most backward so yeah ... so-called mixed marriages are good for something.

Definitely a good thing. There have actually been studies done showing that mixed marriages produce healthier babies, because they have a slim chance of getting a recessive gene from both parents and will consequently have less chance of genetic defects and diseases, and have greater immunity to disease! Speaking from experience I'm dating an African man, and he's treated me better than anybody I've dated up until now :-)

Sure. Most of us are at least ethnically mixed in this country anyway. Why would race make a difference? IMHO, It's silly to limit one's options based on something as superficial as skin tone.

Yes i believe in them.
Everybody is mixed these days!
My husband is Texan (part Syrian and Comanchee) but he's proud of being just Texan.
I am British.
So i guess we are a mixed couple. I'm not entirely British
(if you look at my blood lines that is)

sure but it depends what you mean by mixed marriages I think there may be cultural difference making marriages harder but if you truly love some one you can work it through. religious differences can be harder to overcome.
