For the same reason you're a blonde, while others are brunettes, or that you've got blue eyes while other's have green, and so on.....GENETICS. She comes from genetic stock that is not very hirsute (hairy), and so has less body hair than other people...yourself included.

I am 36 years old and this is exactly like me. I have very little pubic hair, I only grow a few hairs under my arm AND I also don't get under arm odor. I have never worn deoderant or anything. My mother was the same way, so I think it is definitely a family passed on type of thing. Tell your friend she should not worry, hell...I brag about it!!! hahaha All of my friends are envious of me and I save a lot of money on razors and deoderant.

First of all she plucks her armpits? What? That has to be painful. Secondly, it is in her genes to not have as much hair. Some races get less hair than others and no girl is exactly alike. You should be happy with yourself and stop envying her. If you don't like the way it grows shave it like the rest of us.

I guess some people are blessed with not having to deal with shaving all the time. I don't really think there is nothing to worry about. My Boyfriend doesn't have much hair on his legs or on his body, i have always been jealous.

It has to do with genes. This is the same issue as men losing hair when they get older. If the father doesn't have much hair and loses it when he gets older, the son will go through the same problem.

Hair growth frequently depends upon nationality. Certain countries around the world have much heavier hair growth than others.
Even though we are in America, our families all began somewhere else.

some people just hereditarily have more or less hair. Also different people from different ethnic backgrounds may have a tendency to be more or less hairy.
