and why would a man in a leadership position of this great country say such a thing? I need someone to explain this for me.

Bush stated the "the consitution was just a god-d**ed piece of paper. Makes you feel all warm and cozy inside, doesnt it?

Cursed in what sense? That could have a lot of connotations, meaning, it was cursed to tampering, it was cursed by the evil genie, or cursed by voodoo. I believe it to be the best document ever, and if we let it stand on it's own, then it will endure and stand as a monument to all mankind.
