Are they real? Does anyone really get "financial freedom" through them? Why do they all say someone who has no interest or experience in selling can still do it? If the person has no interest in selling, why do they still push it? is anyone else irritated with these types of "businesses"?

In reality, if you really work hard at something, you can "make it". Same goes form MLM. You have to work very very hard at it, its not just a part-time thing like they claim.

And look at the numbers, probably thousands have tried, but only one made it rich. Therefore, it becomes just like any other business.

Personally, I don't feel that they're that legitimate though.

Some are real. Some are barely 'real'. Some really do attain financial freedom through them.

Anyone CAN do it. No college education is required. Not everyone WILL do it. (If they did, the entire country would be rich and retired.)

I don't really like the claim about 'no selling required' because everything is selling in some way. Even selling a concept. But again, you don't need to be a marketing expert to make it work.

If you have no interest in selling, then ask yourself if you have any interest in talking with strangers on a daily basis. If not, then it's not for you, no matter what they tell you.

Ever watch those commercials for Oxy-clean or other products? They talk at an excited loud voice, repeating the phone number over and over. That to me is a hard-sell, or pushy. Many people selling something are pushy. That's why they still push it. Not limited to just the MLM schemes.

Your last question gives away your underlying purpose, not so much to ask a question, but to complain about someone else's work. If it's irritating to you, as Nancy advised, Just Say No. Lots of marketing come-on's irritate me. That's life.

Personally, if I were one of them and you told me, no thanks, I'd move on rather than waste MY time trying to convince you of something that you already said you didn't want. But I have the same problem with door-to-door salesmen, too.

OMG, I'm sorry, the answers you got so far are from naysayers and losers.

I'd suggest, you DO your DUE DILIGENCE.

The people you gave their answers are probably quitters. Mary Kay, Tupperware, Pampered Chefs are ALL MLM (aka networking, aka referral marketing.)

Lazy people who doesn't do their work and expect that $$ fall on their lap as soon as they sign up are nuts.

I'm connected at MLM, a Real company, A Publicly Traded company with REAL PRODUCT, with REAL & Copyrighted compensation plan and Bill of Rights Filed.

I'm afraid, there are other MLM companies who just wants to make money QUICK and disappear because they're a fraud and unfortunately that gave the MLM a bad reputation.

Don't listen to me or to anyone who responded negatively.
DO YOU RESEARCH about a company.

I know people, who became rich from networking. Go to the bookstores and find a networking book and it will explain it to you. Dont listen to people you don't even know specially negative people.

I apologize for sounding like this. I just wonder why people are where they are now. Because they listen to naysayers and let these people decide for them.

Statistic says, 9 out of 10 who starts a business will fail. True, then I have to start 10 business to have 1 successful business then I WILL. NOT like the 9 people who QUIT.

If you're interested still, I can give you more information.

Thank you and Good Luck.

99.9% of the people who try MLM (any MLM) end up losing money.

They prey on very powerful things: Our hopes and dreams. Everyone wants more money. Everyone wants more stuff. In steps a MLM that can make everything you wish for come true. If it were only that easy.

Sure, a few people at the top of the MLM make lots of money but, realistically, it is virtually impossible for the average person to make money or sometimes even break even with an MLM.

There is nothing wrong with this type of business model. The problem is that companies sign up lots of ordinary folks to act as a sales force, but most don't know anything about marketing and sales. This is where all the pushing, as you described it, comes from. The companies tell you to bug your friends and family until they give in. Those that are good at marketing and sales stick with it and do well, the others simply drop out. It is sad, because you can be taught how to be successful regardless of you marketing and sales background.

Also, a sad fact of life is that you are always selling something; ideas, products, wants, wishes and yourself.
Parents sell to their kids, teachers sell to parents and spouses sell to spouses. Life is all about selling.

network marketing is real and done by major corps. in many countries.
most people who join will chose not to make money because they believe in the lottery mindset.
people will spend 4 -5 yrs 50 -125K$ at a college to get a j.o.b. only to have that career field fizzle out in 5 -10 yrs.
people join with j.o.b. mindset. they barely get out the door to a job never mind making enough to get ahead on their bills and make their future different.
financial freedom is different for everyone.
some folks need to put away for their future, pay of credit slave cards/car loans.
reduce their tax bills and keep their cash.
put away cash for kids college.
a simple 500$ extra mth would change many life's.
people tell themselves they don't want to sell.
it isn't prostitution it is life. u sell to ur kids , boss, spouse , self everyday often to the negative cash flow. u got a car loan? even mail order brides , one person has to sell to the other.
the choice to most companies is to find a product or service you personally enjoy and believe in. then announce it to people.
let them chose. do business with people you want to associate with not those who eat and destroy your dreams.
we gladdly let an associate or let customers got if they don't want better themselves.
heck n.m. is the new franchising.
do the reading on how negative press and restrictive laws tried unsuceesfully to destroy not just slow Franchising decades back.
P.S. do u really believe ur jobs are solid?
nice rose coloured glasses then :-)

I've seen a number of people in my family lose money in Advocare, and Amway because of other family members pushing it.
What ever the secret is to making it, they never figured it out.
Spending more time and money on gas than profit with self help gurus in your up line always telling you to "hang on, it will pay off in the long run," and it will......for them!
