We tear down each others' confidence and self-esteem. It's not always over men/boys (though that is a common theme once puberty comes along). It could have to do with jealousy (over material items, looks, etc.), it could do with the attacking woman just having low self-esteem and feeling that if someone else feels worse than her, she can feel better about herself. Women lash out about all sorts of things.

I think some women naturally relate to men better then other women. I have had some very good male friends and some very good female friends, but Ive found the females in most cases are the more difficult to keep on an even keel with. Women are more complicated I believe. Thus itt is harder to maintain the friendship in some cases. Almost like "work" in some ways. But if the relationship is one that is worth the time and effort then we make the effort and keep the friend.
Guys arent simple but compared to women as friends...they are.

There are always people who are jealous of those who have something they want or of those who are more successful than they are. Look at what happens with celebrities. The public puts them on pedestals and then tries to tear them down when they become very successful. Unfortunately, that's a more negative aspect of human nature and it pretty much applies to everybody, not just women.

They gossip - make up rumours about each other, ie. "she's a "promiscuous female" (real word filtered). Or they call each other fat, ugly etc. then claim they are joking. They also exclude girls from their groups. For example a girl in a group may be excluded from an outing that the others go to. They try to make a girl's friends turn against her.

I think that most of the time it is. Be it directly or indirectly. Clothing and looks would be an indirect example.
It's all about the jealousy and competition.

its evolution, pre history, tribes were ruled by an alpha male, and he had his pick of mates, so the females most likely became competitive for the right to mate with him.
and since that wasnt very long ago, they have yet to shed ourselfs of that atribuite. (thats why we still have war, we arent designed for civilised life, the traits that protected us millions of years ago, are destroying us now.)

Women are more verbal - psychology is a natural weapon for those who are literate.

Not necessarily. It may concern clothes, shoes, a new car, etc. It stems from jealousy - plain and simple!

I don't have time for that garbage. I've never been the jealous type, I do my thing and let everyone else live their life.
