Aside from some video games, I don't think so. Video games won't really teach you, anyway. It's not hard, though. You do the correspondence course through a training company, then you go to an on-site training facility for 2-3 weeks, then you're teamed up with an experienced driver for a while till you get some experience in the real world.
You can get financial aid, or some companies will pay for your training if you sign a contract to work for them for a ceratin period of time (usually a year or so). Look around online under truck driving schools, they're out there. I think Roadmaster is one.
Hey, if you don't have any other obligations, why not? If it doesn't work out, at least you tried, and you'll always have that license to fall back on (just remember to get your DOT Physical renewed every two years, or you'll lose it).
If I could do it, there's no reason on earth why you can't! Go for it, and good luck!

At this time I know of no computer programs that could teach you how to drive an 18 wheeler, but who knows. Try looking on Google or other search engines online. Maybe you will find something.

all trucks have different gars some come with 10, super 10, 13, speed 18 and so on. some company's will train you to learn how to drive a truck. good luck. it is a great career. are you wanting to do OTR???
(Over The Road)
a company called Swift might still have training school but not sure. i know JB Hunt use to but they don't do it anymore. i wish i was able to help you. it is best to go with someone that drives and watch them and then try it for you're self. it might be scary at first but you will get use to it :-)

It's just not the same man.
You need to get a friend as a trucker and go over the road with him for a week or so - then you will learn that it's not a good profession
