besides ingrown hairs, are there other dangers?

I just had one and it lasted about 3-4 weeks until it was really noticable.
I am a dude, so maybe its different but it was well worth it compared to shaving.

IT really only last longer if you have course hair cause the wax has to have something to grip. I, along with a few friends, made appt. to do this and our legs. I have very fine blonde hair and it didn't last long at all. My legs had stubble with in two days and it didn't last longer after the seccond session. The brazililan wax hurts like I can't explain and I only went back for the second session because we did this before I got married. I will never do it again. Lets just say you swell and bleed and you'll need a cold bag of something to apply there later

Waxing always lasts longer than shaving, by maybe like 4 weeks? I don't know for sure, I'm too scared to do it!

My wife has this done and yes it lasts longer than shaving but it is painful. It is taking the hair out by the folicles under the skin. Ouch...

Yes, it lasts a lot longer. And the more you do it, the thinner the hair grows back and the more time in between until it does grow back.

yes, not sure, but alot longer than shaving since the wax goes beneath the surface of the skin and takes out the hair.
its very effective.. but it hurts ALOT more.
