People say stupid reasons like that to cover up the actual real reason...like if they want to see someone else (they're not gonna tell the truth). But yeah, the stupidest reason I can think of right now is if someone doesn't like the way the other person dresses.

I know someone who broke up with his girlfriend a week before Valentines Day so that way he wouldn't have to buy her a gift. (Her birthday was also close to V-Day and he didn't want to have to buy a birthday gift either) They got back together for a little while and broke up again for good a few months later.

I divorced my third wife for leaving the cap off the toothpaste one too many times. My second wife and I split up because of toilet paper. She just refused to agree with me that the toilet paper should unroll over the top.
I am really not sure why my first wife and I got divorced. She said I was too stubborn and set in my ways, but I think that she just made that up...

People should never break up over something small like that. My brother's gf broke up with him for saying over the phone," I can't talk to you right now-I'm busy." His Freight Truck Jacknifed and he was holding up the whole lane. When he got home, she said, "If you have another girl on the side, you'd better tell me!" He said "my truck jacknifed" and she said, "ugh. you're sick" and left. I began to think that he was better off without her. What do you think?

I think the dumbest reason would have to be what my buddy Wayne did. He broke up with his girl because he was having sex with her married mother. Mom knew he was with the daughter, but she didn't know he was with mom. He ended it because he liked mom more, and as soon as he did that mom didn't want him anymore because he hurt her daughter. Jerry Springer crap!

Every one I know will break up because they 'hear' that the other did something. But they dont ask, they just trust who tells them. That's pretty stupid to me. But, your's is too.

I believe that! My friends husband threatened to divorce her if she didn't come home from shopping because he didn't want to watch his own kid. They're a pretty dysfunctional marriage and family.
