Serious people, on a soapbox here.....
I have never had cable and never care to have cable...I know there are some pros to it, but in my opinion the cons far outweigh it.
Think of all the great sex you could be having in the wild outdoors if you didn't have your butt planted in front of 350 channels.

I've had cable TV and I deleted 75% of the channels and then thought, what's the point... got rid of my TV, then...

Anyways, I could ABSOLUTELY live without cable TV. I like radio just as much as cable if not more. I could listen to talk radio and sports talk ALL DAY!!
I was working at a sports bar as a dishwasher about 7-8 years back, when all the NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears crap flooded the airwaves. I listened to talk radio instead and was thoroughly entertained:)

Honestly, I have cable now, I think it is around 70 channels. Yes I could live with out it, I have and most likely will again soon.

We have cable and the computer is on it also, but we only have the basic package, and NO 350 channels. So, I don't believe we are being excessive.

I've never had cable either. So, yeah, I can live without it :)
I don't have anything wrong with some TV, but people who park their rear ends in a chair all day and watch show after show after show have problems & it's only going to make them old, unhealthy & fat.

We have Satellite, but I hardly watch it. Most channels show the same old stuff, I watch a few shows on the local stations, and you end up wondering (at the end of the month) why you pay so much for the same old crap.

sad, but i love having cable... i can live without it tho. i did for most of my life.....overall, with our cable now i can put on a free kids movie a hundred times, never have to buy the dvd, for the kids to scratch... and never have to pay rental, and lte fees... so overall it saves us quite a bit..
but if i had gaurenteed dex in the woods every day, and all i had to do was give it up, rest assured i would give it up yesterday..... kids can go climb a tree or play in traffic like i did as a kid...lol....

Well, cable isn't available where I live, so yeah. I think it's funny that if I move a mile south, I can get cable. That's so stupid.
