Dude just hammered poor Stuart Broad
this feat has been done a couple of times but whats remarkable is Yuvraj did it against a genuine pace bowler!
Incredible don't you think?

Murali, its harder to hit against a fast bowler since the batsman has lesser time to adjust to the variation of the bowler's speed

is that the fastest fifty in a twenty 20 match?
does anyone know where Yuvraj's fifty rank among the fastest to achieve it? (that is taking the fewest balls to get a 50 in 20/20)

Great Hitting
There are quite a few a players like Gary Sobers (Domestic Cricket), Ravi Shastri (Domestic Cricket), Herschelle Gibbs (ODI) who have struck 6 sixes before Yuvraj. All of them has done against unknown spinners. Yuvraj has achieved this against Stuart Broad who is a good medium pacer and has done well in the recent past.
So, this tops everything

I watched the whole match and all the commentators were predicting India's score in the region of 180 runs at the stage of 15 overs and one one has imagined that India will cross 200.
However, Yuvaraj Singh proved every one wrong by higtting 6 sixers in an over. He was fully charged up after the verbal duel with Andrew Flintoff and made his bat to give fitting reply to him by his brutal onslaught.
It was fascinating, fantastic and truely out of the words to describe his onslaught on Stuart Broad. He virtually took the match out of England's reach in that one over.
In that process yuvaraj Singh created a record for fastest 50 in all forms of cricket as he scored 50 runs in just 12 balls, which broke all the records set before by J.H. Kallis in Test Cricet, S.T. Jayasuriya in ODI amd Mohd. Ashraful in Twenty/20 cricket..

This is the best ever fastest performance by any batsman in the world. Jayasurya had scored fastest 50 in 17 bowls in 1996 world cup. But Yuvi has hit 6 sixes in an over which takes him to the part of this club including Gary Sobers(In county), Ravi Shastri(Ranji) and Gibbs(ODI world cup). This v call "Chak De India!!!!!!!!!"

this was the fast fifty in any form of international cricket.
I personally feel its easier to clobber a fast baller for six sixes than a spinner, because of the pace, even mishits can go to the boundary (thats what happened with yuvrajs 5 six).
Remarkably this was the first six sixes over against a frontline bowler.

I posted 3 questions on that , lol
This was much better than Gibbs's 6 in the world cuo bcz he did it against a full time fast bowler. Chris Broad bowls at 145 kmph & he destroyed him.
ALL HAIL YUVRAJ!!!!!!!
ALL HAIL YUVRAJ!!!!!!!
Pieterson outtttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now we will win the match.
