Any tactic, whether violent or not, to invoke fear into the masses that forces them to react a certain way.
Under this, the true definition, it is not only radical Muslims, but the U.S. government itself, with active participation from media outlets such as Fox News, CNN and MSNBC, that has actively engaged in acts of terrorism against U.S. citizens.

No, people who are against the ideas of a powerful country are dissenters, and there's no laws against that in the U.S. People who commit dramatic crimes with the express purpose of frightening the women and children of a country are terrorists. You don't have to blow anything up or kill anyone to make an opinion known.

umm no not really,
terrorism to me is several things,
1. smashing plans into buildings, suicide bombings, blowing up trains,
2. cherry picking intellegance to justify a war, continueing said war in the name of "giving freedom to an oppressed people" while at the same time disbanding said peoples army and replacing them with mercs
3. Reality T.V.

There are Muslim Terrorists who should be arrested, just like there are Christian Terrorists (World Trade Center in Oklahoma, the Atlanta Olympics and countless abortion clinics) who should also be arrested.

Terrorism is the deliberate targeting of civilian targets to cause destruction, death and fear. The goal of terrorism is to shake the civilian's faith in his government's ability to protect him. It ultimate goal is to dominate through intimidation.

A person or persons who use fear to control the lives of others. The Islamic Fascist terrorists fit this bill alone by their use of human bombing of innocent people and their roadside bombs that arbitrarily destroy human life to invoke fear for people to join them or die.

Terrorism is taking fear and using it to cause death and destruction on those who do not share your ideology. It is illegal for people to do this in the US.
American citizens need to consider our Bill of Rights that we all hold dear, and use it to determine our national definition of terrorism. Most of us have already done this.
I think that anti-war Liberals fall short of this assessment by desiring to grant our inalienable rights to people who do not grant them to anyone. Not even their own citizens.
