Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. The ability to own your own home. The ability to do better than your parents did, and have your children do better than you. The idea that you work to better yourself and your community, without being required to by some government or dictator. To live as you want to live.

The american dream is having the freedom to live happily while achieving your aspirations and dreams for yourself and family. For me, the american dream is having my own home and taking pride in being able to have something that is tangible and valuable. Also, having a good/secure professional job. Working towards building a family unit with my boyfriend, his daughter and my dog :) I have achieved a lot for only being 26 so I am pretty happy!!!

What is the American Dream, can you define it?

Age -26

Occupation or Major - I work for a title company in WI

The American Dream is having your own dream, and accomplishing your own goals without worrying about things like Non Americans taking your job.

But the "Cliche" american dream is a decent house, a family, husband/wife, middle-high paying job, 2 cars..haha Funny huh?
