To some, the feeling or illusion of safety and security is more important.

When that becomes the pervasive position of U.S. citizens, we will be mere years from collapse. When you sacrifice freedom for security, you'll get neither.

Freedome What is freedom excally?
is it the freedome to do what i want with out hurting others?
or is freedom not living in a place where they can tell you what faith to have..
Freedom to me is different!
Bums homeless are the free ones! They don't have to pay taxes they don't have to do anything but look for a way to survive! that is freedom!
But i'm selfish and i have wants so i work the 9-5 and get the toys i want lucky i can get them so that would be a state of freedom.

But yes LIFE and living it to it's fullest reguardles of what cards life delt you is more precious the freedom! Not everyone can live that way! Not when your givin to much freedom!

I would have to say that my friends and family are more important to me than my freedoms. I'd be more willing to give up freedoms than them. But, my freedoms are very, very dear to me, don't get me wrong.

To me, safety and security is everything. I could care less if the police stopped me every five minutes. If you did nothing wrong it's just conversation.

I can take care of my own economy, my own health, my own pursuit of happiness so long as I know that I'm not going to wake up one morning to tanks rolling down my street. Especially if they're flying a flag other then Old Glory.

Security and freedom are equally important.

Being free means nothing if you're dead.
Being alive means nothing if you're enslaved to the system.

The two must constantly be balanced.
