50's little comments in this whole quote is nonsense! the only thing he raps about is grindin on some girl and all his money. The reason he says that era is dead is because they were rapping about somethin meaningful to life and not just girls, money, and whips.

of course "that nonsense" sells.. look at jay z !!! the most consistent rapper of all times!!! his records sale all the time.. and he is intellectual... bottom line at the end of the day people,mind, and ears can pick up good artists and music!!! thats why kanye outsold 50 cent .. kanye i think just tried harder to make greater and better music! you can just tell... because reguardless of what people say kanye is not that good of a rapper but you can see his efforts in his album!.. he improved himself!.. we the people can tell froma distance who is who!.. 50 cent will never get to that level and he will probably die out from now on... he is to busy trying to become rich from album sales and putting half assed albums out... yeah 50 cent is good but he needs to get out of his comfort zone!! people want new things being said in the most cool complex ways. thats what has always sold and will continue to sale!
