Will all the conservatives then "Stand behind" their president no matter what disastrous policy decision that person makes?
Since it has been explained to the American people over and over that not supporting the president is un American.

So what you are saying is that it is perfectly acceptable to disagree with the president, and doing so is very american?

Reger...yo honestly believe that making a decision that costs us thousands of our young servicemen can somehow be compared to costing you another 25 bucks a week?

I will jump for joy. It is our duty to question all of our politicians. It is unAmerican to not do so. It is also extremely lazy and dangerous to not pay attention to what is really going on. I want to be informed. I'm not going to trust anyone to do what is right. Who can agree what is right, first of all with all of the different interests?

I think some people would be true to their word and stand behind a President no matter what they feel about them, just giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Then there are others that would reject anything the President says simply because of party affiliation.
For example, when a Democrat proposes cutting taxes for the middle class it is considered 'buying your vote.' But when a Republican cuts taxes for the rich it is 'smart economic policy.'

I won't blindly stand behind a Dem president like I did Clinton. I voted once for Bush and I stand behind that DECISION. However, don't mistake the fact that I don't support all of Bush's policies.

Not supporting the President on the Iraq and Afghanistan war issues is un-American.
If a president comes along and does something incredibly stupid, like raising tax rates, I will not support him.

You find the republicans more willing to stand behind a democrat in the face of Muslim terrorism than what has been shown by the democrats.
