Yes. when I was in France. Didn't care for it, but I likes its cousin Pernod. . Have you ever tried either?

It's strange stuff....strange but good. You've got to get the real absinthe shipped from Europe. They don't sell the real stuff in the states or canada.

No,I never heard of it before. I have heard of Pernod though - in the movie "Gotcha" with Anthony Edwards and Linda Fiorantino.

Yeah. I didn't really notice much difference between it and vodka other than the color and taste. I had about 3 shots and didn't hallucinate or anything.

My friend got some back into the US once. She hasn't tried it yet, we are going to save it for a special occasion. maybe when we graduate.

I ahve tried it and it was very enjoyable, you need to taste it in very small sips but it is very good.
