120 yards from the back of one endzone to the back of the other. In a game there is never any need to run 120, but at the most 110 yards if a kickoff or punt was returned from the very back of the endzone. A very fast player can run the 100 yard field in around 11-12 seconds. If you are talking about running the whole 120 yards it is probably around 15-17 seconds for a very fast player.

from goal line to goal line the field is 100 yds, from the back of the end zone to the back of the end zone the field s 120 yds. Athletes can run the length of a football field in seconds, the distance is the distance of one of the sprint events in track and field at the Olympics.

I'm not going to give you the same answer as everyone else...they're all right and you don't need to hear it again.
But, if they don't believe that a player can run that distance in seconds, try to break things down to him/her. Fill them in on training camp - the 40 yard dash time can make or break a recruit. Players have to have speed - period. Each position had different standards, of course, but they have to move.
