Right,
Depressing movie : That one with Kate Winslet in, and Christopher Eccelston, i think it was called Jude.
Also Charlotte Gray is quite depressing if your into history and that
BAMBI IS VERY DEPRESSING.

Depressing song: Mad world
Depressing Book : All those ones about child abuse like a boy called it and the one about the woman in the Magdalene laundries.

I'm sure there's more depressing things than that ..

Flaming Lips "Do you Realize" is the saddest song ever written (at least in my opinion)

Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face
Do You Realize - we're floating in space -
Do You Realize - that happiness makes you cry
Do You Realize - that everyone you know someday will die

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Do You Realize - Oh - Oh - Oh
Do You Realize - that everyone you know
Someday will die -

Everytime I hear it I can't help but think about how precious and fast life is and how easy it is to lose someone you love

Most depressing book was something like "On the Beach" or "The Beach" or something like that. It was basically about a bunch of people just waiting to die from nuclear radiation because the rest of the world already had. It was about how they spent their last year.

Most depressing song is hands down "Gloomy Sunday", or "that Hungarian suicide song". The composer committed suicide a bit after he wrote it, then so did his ex-lover, and lots of other people have killed themselves to it over the years. Really beautiful, but so sad too.

A movie called They Shoot Horses, Don't They? with Jane Fonda.

The Red Pony by John Steinbeck is pretty depressing as well.
