I don't think you'll have a choice.

If you refuse to carry health care then I will personally watch you die if you are hit by a car, or fall down the stairs, What I won't do is pay for you.
Just like now.
There doesn't have to be a special jail for healthcare refuseniks. There just doesn't have to be doctors or hospitals for them.
In reality, should you need one. you will still be fixed up, but you will be responsible for the bills, and you won't be allowed to deduct them if you go bankrupt trying to pay them.
Right now medical bills are the leading cause of bankruptcy.
So you can and will, lose your home, your car and most of all your smugness.
Insurance looking better now?

it will be no different than if you do not have health care now...except without mandatory coverage hospitals and emergency responders will not have to treat you even without insurance as they do now. in the same way that if you drive without insurance no one will know until you get in a wreck and are then sued, no one will care or know that you don't have medical insurance until YOU are in need of medical attention.

so i guess the real question is, why would you go and screw yourself over like that, by not accepting affordable health insurance?

I dont, the clarification our healthcare is so costly now's with the aid of deadbeats who wont pay their expenditures and stupid proceedings thatpersistent assurance value sky severe. I paintings interior the medical field and that i see it well-known. in the event that they desire to restoration the issue provide up giving out tens of millions of greenbacks in proceedings that are petty to start with and get human beings off the dole that dont might desire to be. The abuse if Medicaid or in spite of you call it on your state is poor. I dont think of every physique desires to pass to the ER because of the fact they have a runny nostril or their sunburn itches. I even have seen the two a style of come by using on greater advantageous than one party. I even have spoken to numerous Canadians, maximum of them dont like the way their healthcare equipment is administered. And Holly, thank you for the link on the tax numbers out of your post. What they didnt put in there and in the event that they did I ignored it, grew to become into how plenty those tax will boost on the wealthier human beings might harm jobs for something human beings. in addition they missed to point that obama desires to boost capital features alot. that isn't look like it hurts alot of folk yet i'm going to provide an occasion. My family owns a farm...wasroughly one thousand acres, bout a million/2 that now, my persons are by utilising no potential rich. They ensue to own alot of floor in some peoples eyes, yet once you're taking the overhead it takes to function a farm they make 30,000 a 12 months in the event that they are fortunate. in the event that they desire to sell that floor the government gets greater advantageous than a million/2. Im no longer even gonna start on the loss of existence tax. That element is bigoted and corrupt and could be completed away with thoroughly.

You could refuse the Health care, but could not refuse paying for it.
The Health care will be payed for out of your huge tax increase, while companies that used to pay for Health care will pocket the money.
They will appreciate it....

As an employer, I wouldn't be able to hire you. Plus, I'd probably be forced by law to turn you into the Health Insurance Police (another new agency funded by our tax dollars).

You may be joking but I suggest you find and read a copy of her first health care reform plan. It specifically called for the prosecution of Doctors who accepted payments from patients and patients who attempted to pay doctors outside of her system. It included a lifetime cap on benefits with no way to purchase additional coverage or pay for it yourself. I presume this meant that if you were in intensive care and your benefits ran out the hospital would be forced to wheel you out in the street and no doctor would dare help you.

It truly was that draconian.

Why would you not want health care?

Are you really that much of a wingnut that that is your only argument? "Health care? I don't wanna!!!!!"

You sound like my 2 year old.

What if I don't want to pay for bombs? Do I get a choice? What if I don't feel like padding Dick's retirement account from Haliburton? Do I get a choice there?

Why do you idiots rail against taxes actually IMPROVING someone's life instead of eradicating it?

I was wondering the same thing. If you don't choose to be in it, will they force you into buying it, kind of like banks do with car insurance if you don't maintain the premiums independently? Inquiring minds would like to know the answer to your question.

I heard Hillary giving a speech yesterday in which she explicitly stated that if you didn't want to participate in her proposed plan, you wouldn't be forced to.
And if you prefer your employer-provided health care plan, you would NOT be required to enroll in the government plan.
