probably because there is more runs scored via the dh rule. baseball purists like the national league games more because there is more strategy instead of homerun derby.

Home Runs, DH, Yankees and Red Sox. These instant gratification of AL appeals to most, but there is a large number of fans that find NL baseball more exciting because there is more situations that occur in the course of a game.
In the end it is most likely a matter of which league your favorite team plays in.

It is?
The difference in pitching is amazing. In the AL, there's too much messing around my the pitchers. Curve ball, change up, nibble at the corners.
in the NL, fast ball, hit it if you can.
Also, get rid of the DH. Baseball players are supposed to be able to hit, hit for average or power, run , field, and throw. Not just get 4 or 5 AB's and rest between at bats, while their teammates have to go to work.

Because they don't win as many games.
A lot of second place teams in the AL end up winning more games then first place NL teams.

I know you are speaking for yourself because I prefer the NL without the DH.
