I live in Delaware and i'm 17 years old. People always tell me I should be a model. I am seriously considering it...but it's hard finding information for the plus size field. I am a size 16/18

Most plus sized models are at least 5'8" and must be over a size 12. The vast majority of plus sized models (like any models) have a pretty face, however plus sized models must also have good proportions--meaning that they have a nice, curvy figure. Try searching your local paper for casting calls for plus-sized models, or do an online search for "modeling agencies who represent plus-sized models." Maybe you could go on their website and get info on what next step you should take.

Most Modeling agencies have offices in many major cities. If you look up an agency online they should have open audition dates (lots of places do them at least once a week). Some agencies look for the 5'11" size 2 look, but many of them are looking for everyone: male, female, children, seniors, all shapes, sizes and colors. Get a portfolio or at least a head shot and full body shot and go audition. You can audition as many times as you like, some days they may look for one type, others they may be looking for you! 'Elite' is an agency that has a plus size division (i dont know their locations). **IF YOU HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING THEY ARE NOT LEGIT!!

Eat tons of food. ;)

(okay, I'll admit that was "nasty";
go ahead and give me a negative rating;
I agree that it's warranted!)
