How do I delete or disable the Mobile Device feature in My Computer?

In My Computer in Windows I have 4 catagories "Files Stored On This Computer", "Hard Disk Drives", "Devices With Removable Storage", and "Other".
In the "Other" section I have this thing called "Mobile Device" and I want to delete it.
Any Ideas ?

Good luck. It is a standard catagory within Windows. It is used for communicating with wireless devices, including Wi-Fi, Bluethooth or Infrared. If your computer is equip with any of those, you will have that catagory.

Removing it would prevent you from being able to use any such devices in the future.

Because it is a needed catagory for the devices to work, there is no way to delete it. You would have to hack the registry and remove all references to it from there. If done wrong, it could prevent your computer for booting.

Unless you are very familiar with editing the registry, I recommend that you leave it alone.
