I heard about a ghost when I was younger that everyone called the Traveler. Seems this guy would be walking along the side of the road in like Oklahoma as a car would go by. Then a couple of days later, the same car would pass the same guy walking along the side of the road in Montana. He'd been spotted several times all over the central part of the United States at one time or another.

Depends what they are attracted to for some it is the person for others it is the place and they can follow you to another place if you move if it is you they are attracted to although this would usually be an ancestor(blood related) as if you have moved somewhere and discovered it to be haunted it is attracted to the house/land where you are so it would stay there.

People who get ghost/spirits in their houses, apts.,old buildings find they will usually stay in one spot , example:The ghost stays in the families house for years, instead of taking a walk all over town or moving to another house. Tell the ghost they are earth bound, they are dead, time to go to the light and go home, that is what Sylvia Browne psychic says to do.

It would depend on whether the spirit is "grounded" in one place, or whether it comes in "visitation". If they are grounded, for some reason they havent crossed over fully, yet those that come in visitation pop in and out, usually because it was either a very happy time and place in their lives, or because they still have issues to deal with in that place. Spirits who arent grounded have been known to go to other countries, as well as the one in which they lived or died. There doesnt seem to be any limitations to how far they can travel.

Ghosts are merely spirits that have not crossed-over yet. they're caught in-between this international and the after-existence. they are no longer caught in one place. some spirits will wander for many distinctive motives of their very own. some spirits stay close to to better half and youngsters or the area they referred to as abode. some spirits have been commonly used to stay close to to someplace that feels like abode. this occurs whilst the area they as quickly as lived is torn down, no longer there, etc. In those circumstances the spirit will "flow in" to a house that seems to them like their final abode. some spirits grow to be "caught" to human beings. This each each now and then happens with couples whilst one dies. the 1st one will each each now and then stay till the different dies, and then they bypass-over at the same time.

ghosts can move round, to different places, some ghosts haunt people,not in a nasty way, they just seem to like some people, and follow them where they go,

They can move around as I have called on various people for my clients and have been able to communicate with the passed over. Believe it or not it doesnt bother me but they are not stuck unless they experienced a horrific painful death where they are stuck. Otherwise free to go where they please.

Pop through walls, up chimneys, in the kitchen ,the bedroom but as far as I can tell from ghost stories are fixed to one area somewhere they are locked into for some reason.

Ghosts are either in residence or in visitation.
Residence is when they stay in one place
Visitation is when, because of various memories or objects, they roam from place to place.
However, visitation is quite rare, as most ghosts are in residence (usually where they were killed.)
