Its sounds like you are just making an observation that the red sox play better with Manny, He is not the whole team but man they do not look special without him.
They better make the playoffs or it will be Manny's fault in my opinion.

In some ways Yes. Manny provides protection for many in the line up. Certainly for David Ortiz. Without Manny in the line up you can pitch them differently, less defensively (you can give up hits, but not runs with Manny out), and pitch around Big Papi.
Emotionally, Manny is Manny. He is the quirky, man-child who Boston loves. He of tremendous home runs and bathroom breaks in the scoreboard. The team feeds off his oddness and his offense grounds them and provides them with personality.

Manny has not had a great year and that has also affected Ortiz's year I feel. He is pulling his usual August crap. This is a playoff race and he SHOULD be playing and stop being a freak'n WHIMP. I hate it when people are such Sally's.
With him missing, Youk missing, and Coco missing, this lineup is not going to produce crap. Here's hoping they can hold on...Yankees are on a tear though...

I take it all the time against the Yankees cuz SO many people hate them. So SOME people need to get a thicker skin or just stay out of YA! You know who you are.

They have been fine without him and he should be back soon (and maybe even tonight). The Sox will be fine and will win the East...I, for one, am not worried. I would much rather be 2.5 ahead than 2.5 behind.
