I was just on a site where I can enter my due date and find out how many weeks along I am, and also convert it to months, and when I seen how far along i am (3.1 months) I was really shocked. Does the whole pregnancy go by this fast or is it just me? And have any of you ever felt if you thought about it in weeks that it seemed less time than when you think about it in months? Or could I just be over excited? So far it feels like it's going fast, and it seems like it's going fast too? So if any mommy out there knows what I'm talking about, let me know.

The last 1 to 2 months do not seems to go by as qyuickly as the first.
Some of the reasons: You are not sleeping as weel because you have to get up and go pee all of the time, it becomes more difficult to breath as the baby starts getting bigger and taking up space in your body.
It is such an exciting time and pregnany is truly a miracle from God. I enjoyed feeling the baby move inside of me. It always reminded me of the miracle of a new life that i was allowed to be a part of.
Don't wish this time away though, because there will be a part of you that will miss feeling the baby inside of you, even though you can hold your baby in your arms.
My best to you and your growing family

My children are 28, 25, 22, and 10. Back in the days when I was pregnant with my older 3, ultrasounds were rarely done and pregnancies were always measured in months, never in weeks. Sometime between my third born and my fourth born, counting pregnancies in weeks became common. I very unexpectedly and unknowingly, conceived our youngest when I had been taking birth control pills for 11 years. By the time I found out I was pregnant, an ultrasound (my first ever pregnancy related ultrasound) revealed I was 17 weeks along already. That entire pregnancy went by extremely quickly since I was nearly 1/2 through before I even knew I was pregnant and I was operating in shock-mode for most of it! Oddly, at the end of that pregnancy, I wanted to stay pregnant longer! With the older 3, it seemed as if the earlier months of pregnancy always flew by quickly, but by the time the 7th month was in full swing it seemed like it couldn't be over fast enough. That's the time when I really began to feel big, fat, and ugly plus really uncomfortable with trouble breathing and sleeping. All my kids were born past their due dates (9 days, 11 days, 5 days and 7 days). Even with my youngest, I had weekly ultrasounds beginning at 32 weeks due to Gestational Diabetes and I still went to 41 weeks (and probably would have gone longer except I had a bad reaction to a prostaglandin gel insertion intended to aid in softening my cervix, but sent me into 6 minute contractions and my baby into distress). My oldest has a baby, my 5-month-old grandson, and we counted her pregnancy in weeks instead of months. To me, it seemed like it went on forever. I think some of that has to do with how much earlier women generally find out they are pregnant with the availability of home pregnancy tests. Those were unheard of in my early days of motherhood. My doctor always waited to see his patients for the first time after they had missed 2 periods. Then, a blood test was required before an "official" pregnant diagnosis was made. So, while women often knew they were pregnant, most didn't say anything until they were nearly 3 months along and had been to the doctor for a firm assessment.

I felt like that the whole pregnancy and still now. It all has flown by! My son turned 8 months last week and I can hardly believe its been more than a month! haha I loved being pregnant - enjoy some sleep while you can too! Oh and when your baby gets here cherish every moment because they grow so fast. Congratulations and best wishes!

Don't worry, it will slow down... especially in the last month or so. lol. I'm 33 weeks, and it feels like the time is crawling. I keep reminding myself that I am enjoying sleeping at night etc, and to enjoy what time I have left. However, I am getting excited that it is getting closer, so it seems I have made time slow down even more. If it flies by for you, congrats, but I promise when you get big and miserable, it will slow down. Congrats!!

It might seem like time is going fast now. But the farther into your pregnancy you get and the more uncomfortable you get...the slower the weeks seem to tick off. Especially the last few.

Congratulations!

First of all Congratulation!!!!

I know exactly how you feel.

When I counted weeks it seemed to go by so slow, but when it was over and I had my baby it all seemed to have gone by so fast. So enjoy every minute of it while you can!!
