We're the greatest slave nation because we work harder, have fewer vacation days and fewer holidays than even those supposed worker bees, the Japanese. And our government is constantly supporting the importation of cheaper labor.

Are you saying being addicted to tobacco and drugs is slavery?
Or that the production of these crops is slavery?
In a sense, you could say that both are a type of slavery, but both are also voluntary, no one forces you to work in the tobacco fields, smoke, or do drugs.
True slavery has no voluntary component.
