yeah, they bring in real people who have somewhat those problems but the thing is they crew just makes it worse than it really is. have you watched the springer hustle? its on VH1 and they just those people to come on stage at a certain and sometimes they make up a lie or two to increase the "fun". and the crowd interaction is ever so stage!

Yes & No.
The people they get actually have "real" problems but before they go on the producers get them all hyped up and go over what they are going to say ahead of time...they kinda play on their emotions.
They are full aware of what they are getting into and careless about it and think it is funny to air their odd-ball problems on national TV on the infamous Jerry Springer show.
Anyone who says these people don't actually have "issues", really needs to think about what i just said.

Of course. I know a cat who was hired to do the show. This person lied hard for a couple of bucks. Its real as Lil Kim's hairweave.
