It is a sin, but you won't go to hell. Here is why:
First off there is no such thing as a major sin. A sin is a sin. From looking at porn to murdering someone. Littering is a sin because it is breaking the law, stuffing yourself on thanksgiving is a sin, looking at a girl or a guy and just thinking "nice butt" or whatever is a sin. Hell would be getting pretty full but there is good news. You have excepted Jesus Christ as your savior. See all the stuff about gays being wrong was in the old testament ( which has been rewritten so many times it wouldn't be hard to believe that some Christian society in the past changed i t to fit their views, because they "knew" what god truly met) but that doesn't even matter because in the new testament Jesus died. He died for all the sin there are and ever will be, he knows man are sinners. So the son of god sacrificed himself so all that believe in him will be risen up no matter how many sins they have committed. The only way to be good Christian is to spread the word of Christianity, even just to one person. What the church makes you think a good Christian to be is their view of a good person. If you go to church and you haven't learn this then you have a good person church, stop going and pick up a bible, that and prayer is all you really need, and maybe the internet for some aid in understanding. The church only good use is to have a place for friendly support with problems and when they do good deeds for the community rather than spend it on 100 inch LCD screens for the church. It also is a place to sing in worship (but really worship can be done in many many forms) and helps to understand the bible BUT personal views of the preacher and/or the Christian community often interferes and makes up its their own interpretation of the Word to only benefit they way they think. Religion should never dictate your life, it is only meant to guide. Hope this helped.

Here is a little food for thought. It is a fact of the human as well as the rest of the animal kingdom that there are gay and bi creatures all over the map. There always has been and always will be.
God, on the other hand has been interpreted by many different groups and cultures of human beings as far back as cave drawings.
Some cultures now and in history accept and even embraced sexual diversity.
Our society is full of self righteous people who say they are right and others are wrong.
All that being said it is within you that the fight for acceptance must be waged. If you never come to a place of acceptance of who you are you will not know peace in your life. So you need to do what you, in your own mind, feel is right. Not what others tell you is right.
God would not create a creature that was a mistake.

i answered this a million times lol u have no idea many ppl ask this.
ok the answer is obvious
NO
u r not going to hell because loving someone else who cares if it is the same sex GOD is loving and forgiving he is not going to send u to hell for that.
Being bi is a beautiful thing, u r open abt your sexuality and u look for love instead of gender. so no u r not going to hell ok? lol
dont believe the bible it was written by ppl NOT GOD.
God is not going to send u to hell because i mean come on he's not that type of person. he is very accepting and loving and he loves u dont ever forget that.
being bi can a transition for few, but most ppl stay bi forever, however it does not mean u cant live like any other normal person. u can be married to a man and be proud to be bi.

here's the deal. bisexuallity is a choice. you might feel that you were born that way or whatever, but the truth is you were just guided there by your environment. I'm not a fire and brimstone kindof guy(at least not by choice), so i want you to know that occasionally playing for the other team is not a major sin. there is no such thing to God. Sin is Sin. anyways, here's my honest opinion on the whole topic of sexual exploration/liberation/freedom: the sexual revolution was manufactured by certain people(if i name names i get attacked) to isolate youth from their parents. Isolation is the perfect state to begin brainwashing to buy this or vote that way or whatever. You may think that you are in control, but that is the exact opposite of the truth. By labeling yourself a bisexual, you admit that the world has a hold on you. It's hard to break labels. Even after I quit smoking, people still knew me as Hippie Chris... (irrelevant) anyways, here is my advice... come clean... don't hide it, but don't make it any bigger than it is. Tell your parents that you are attracted to females as well as males. Tell them that you don't know how to deal with these feelings(because you wouldn't have asked this question if you did) and ask for help. ask them to pray for guidance and clarity. You won't be able to fix anything by yourself, and that means that you need not only your parents, but also the help of other christian friends... above all you need help from Jesus. Oh yeah... read the Bible more. If you fill your head with good, you won't have time to dwell on the bad. whew... long winded...

in case you have self assurance in God, undergo in strategies it this type. God made guy, synthetic faith. God created the thoughts of the bible, guy added info. God made guy, synthetic sin. final I checked no longer being gay isn't between the ten commandments. God nor Jesus grow to be in no way in touch in something interior the bible that is or grow to be linked with homosexuality. They in no way gave their own opinion. men did. men have been the witnesses, men wrote the bible. Translators in no way get each little thing perfect. i'm a bi christian. Proud to be a Jesus groupie and proud to be a "fairy".

Moses was against it, but he never said you'd go to hell for it, no more than for wearing a nice cotton-poly blend or shopping on Sunday. And Jesus said to "love your neighbor as yourself," and nothing else on the topic, so it must not have been a big deal to anyone but Paul.

God alone knows what's in our hearts and on our minds. I wouldn't lose sleep over what others say or believe.

I don't believe in hell, but, if I did, I think you would only end up there for hurting others, not for trying to make yourself happy. I'm sorry for your confusion. I don't think you're making a choice to be bisexual; I also don't think that you need to be ashamed of who you are.

Bi is not a choice, although it would seem that females are more likely to be "wired" that way.

The only way you could go to hell for it is if hell or god actually existed.

The definition of sin is all things that alienates us from God. So if you have second thoughts about something maybe something is wrong .Don't feel guilty, just check your heart to find your true feelings about Him.We choose heaven or hell...
Sometimes we are very selfish and we don't know it.We are not ready to dissatisfy our egos.
