BAD. Should be a 1.5 lead condsidering the Red Sox are losing 2-1.

I don't think Red Sux fans will have that big of a reaction to it. They have grown VERY used to the Yankees beating them, so when it happens, it will not be something new. All they can do is talk about '04...their first in 86 years. I'll get worried in 2090.

They'll probably feel about 1/10th of the embarrassment and pain that the Yankees fans felt after the 2004 ALCS.
What happened again in that Series.. Weren't the Yankees up 3-0?

In todays' Boston Globe website there is a survey about "How do You Feel?" in connection with the Red Sox lead on the NY Yanks diminishing to 2.5 games and 2 in the loss column.
Any time you have to practice "armchair" psychology on your readership it can't be a good time for them.

BUT if they are passed by the Yankees I guess I will feel like we need to gain back the respect we deserve by kicking A S S in the postseason

Are you kidding? The losers will be pissing and moaning until next year. The only thing good that ever came out of Boston was Roger Clemens, Babe Ruth and creampies. Boston fans are almost like the Bush family, generation after generation of losers. I wish you guys would sign Bonds if he decides to play next year. It guarantees him no rings for his career.
