Yes, because for me its a lasting form of artistic expression conveying a deeper meaning.

No. Because I tend to get bored with things after awhile. And a tattoo isn't something like going from long hair to short. Hair grows back. Or waxing shaving changing the color of something like hair. A bad suntan be it real or fake can fade. But a tattoo. If one later regretted it. Like it or not like a scar you would have to accept it.

I have one (a purple butterfly on the right side of my chest) cant remember why I chose it though! I woul get another one I'm considering a baby dragon to represent my son but who knows. As for the whys I think tatoos are more of a why not sort of thing.

YES!! I would. I would get one because I've been wanting one for a long time. I want "Tempus Fugit" on my ankle, in a banner. It's latin for, "Time Flees". I would love to get that. It has significant meaning to me.

Lynn:
There are possible ways to get them removed. Sure, they are expensive, but it's not like there is no way to get them removed. And if you have a badly drawn tattoo... you can always get a cover up tattoo that is better.

I would say if you want a tattoo and your parents say no wait until you are 18 and out of the house then get it.

I would like to have the love of my life's name tattooed on me so that there will be no doubt in her mind that I belong to her forever & want to be with her forever. My wife that I have 4 kids with, not just some chick.

3 is my limit,i have tattoos but i think they look ugly when there covered all over you with no significant meaning or do it yourself ones.I love the art in tattoos,a girl i know had one on her back not totally covered but it looked very nice and professional and it meant alot to her as she was bulimic and recovered and it was a symbol of her new beginning.

Yes, I have two so far and plan on getting more really soon. Some people may agree they are ok and others not, but what if you are saved now and got them when you weren't and you dont believe in it anymore what does that make you.

i did want one really bad but now everyone has tats. i hate that. and someone once told me that if you get a tat and if your child was to ever need a blood transfusion you can not do it because of the ink. now that i am a mother i don't think i need one anymore. plus it is not very feminine
