The league should have suspended him. The ethical thing for the Patriots to do would be to suspend him, however if you saw the interview with the owner, he was very careful about what he said and didn't take any accountability for what happenned, you know he knew about it, so don't expect him to go doing anytihng extra.

We know this happens with players cut every year, the Dolphins last year against the Patriots and the Packers against the 49ers 10 years ago. As long as we're ready to suspend every coach for a year if that's what it amounts to, then go ahead. The same could be said about interfernce with coaches during the season, holding, off sides and a whole list of other rules everyone breaks. let's just suspend everyone for all games forever. Then justice will be served.

I say on the grounds that a letter replaced into sent out sept 6th spelling out precisely what wasn't allowed and that they flagrantly omitted that letter and easily stated F U to the NFL regulations, I say that Goodell dropped the ball in this one. no longer basically replaced into it a slap on the wrist, besides the undeniable fact that it additionally deliver a message that gamers would desire to be on an honest leash and watch their backs, and that coaches can do what they choose, as long as they don't seem to be getting caught! I hate to assert it, and that i'm white, yet i ask your self what might of take place if Belichick replaced into black. it variety of feels that there is a bias ingredient going at here, and that i do no longer accept as true with it. If Goodell thinks that the movements of Pacman Jones and Mike Vick made the NFL appeared undesirable, he needs to realize that Belichick or perhaps his own reactions to this subject, is merely as damaging to a twin of the NFL!

No way! It would be like benching Tom Brady. The man's a winner. Other teams do it all the time. They just got caught because someone was tired of getting their asses beat by the Patriots all the time. If the league really looked into it, they discover a lot more teams with scouting reports on the other coaching staff's signals.

You won't see that happening...what you will probably see is the owner pay his fine! Cheating or not, The Pats have won 3 of the last 4 Super Bowls which brought the owner of the Pats millions and millions of dollars.

Belichick should be suspended for an extended period if time...say 1 year.

Not only should he only suspend Bilichick, he should accept accountability. As you saw by the interview he is not about to do either. This organization has no class and it starts at the top with the owner. I also think that you are right that the penalty was to light, but hey it's the NFL.
