Sammy Johns - Chevy Van
Michael Martin Murphy - Wildfire
Paul Davis - Cool Night
Barbara Mandrell - I Was Country (When Country Wasn't Cool)
Barbara Mandrell - If Loving You Is Wrong (I Don't Want To Be Right)
Jim Croce - You Don't Mess Around With Jim
Jim Croce - Bad, Bad Leroy Brown
Jim Croce - Operator (That's Not The Way It Feels)
Poco - Midnight Rain
Poco - Friends In The Distance
Poco - Crazy Love
Newer songs with that feel:
Little Big Town - Boondocks
Buddy Jewell - Sweet Southern Comfort

Warren Brothers - Sell A Lot Of Beer
Jason Aldean - Hicktown
Jason Aldean - Back In This Cigarette
Cross Canadian Ragweed - Alabama

She Daisy has a CD that I love.....I know every song by heart. I think the title of the CD is " Some Hearts". Sara Evans is phenomenal. Another good one that not too many people listen to is John Berry.....can't go wrong at all with his music. I actually like just about all country music...but these are a few that stand out. ....Victoria Shaw has an incredible CD as well..try it out and let me know. Good luck and have fun...

You mean place name type stuff, or just that sort of feel?
I'm inclined to suggest "Guitar Town" or "Someday" by Steve Earle
Or what about "Oh My Sweet Carolina" by Ryan Adams?
