No, for one Sonny will never allow him to...look at how Sonny blew up at him the other day for not obeying his orders. For another thing, Jason feels that the only way he can protect Liz and Jake is to stay away from them...yeah right!
In my dream GH, Jason would give up the mob, and take over ELQ. Can't you just see him being the ruthless businessman? Not to mention giving up the black t-shirts and jeans for a well tailored suit! woohoo!!!

Heck no! He tried giving that life up before when he own the garage above Jake's. If it didn't work then - it surely won't work now. Jason enjoys the work of a gangster and plus he will not abandon sonny for any reason what so ever. Jason and sonny are like butch cassidy and the sun dance kid. They are always watching each others back - no matter what. If he gives it up then he will be very venerable to his enemies. So he will never be able to leave the mob completely because he is always getting sucked back into it by something, place or thing.

The only person Jason left the mob for was his once true love Sam, but that was when he had that head trauma but because another mob was traking him down he rejoined the mob. No soap couple stays together so when or if jason and liz get together, im pretty sure writers are going to use jason's dealings with the mob to break the couple up eventually, so we want get bored of them.

I think he would attempt to do it but would end up right back in the Mob. And let's face it even if he left the Mob, it doesn't mean people wouldn't come after him for the things he did in the past or for just being associated with Sonny. But we all know that in life when our own children are involved we do things that other people wouldn't think we would do. It could turn out to be the other way around. Liz might decide she wants to be with him badly so she will try & deal with him being in the Mob. As much as I would like to see them together, I don't think it will ever completely work.

Neither Sonny or Jason can leave the mob unless it is in a box.
Jason may have one out and that would be if he reverted to Jason Q and forgot all he knew about the mob, but then he would also forget Liz.

I don't think he would. That lifestyle is all he has ever known. He is not really conflicted by it like Sonny is at times. Sonny tried to get out of the "bussiness" once and Jason took over(around the time Carly was pregnant with Micheal) but he came back to it. Jason hasn't done that. His life is the
"bussiness".

He has tried to get out before. Sonny came back and Jason wanted out, since Sonny could not get out neither could Jason. I don't remember the whole story. He will do anything except leave his work or Sonny and the boys. If he gets with Liz Carley is going to be pissed.

Jason doesn't really have any skills other than mopping floors. So what would he do if he left the mob. Get pretty boring if you ask me. He would make a great Mr. Mom though. Elizabeth would get bored with him real quick too.

I thought I read a spoiler some where that he was going to try and do just that in the near future, but I doubt it will happen. He is too deep in the mob. He wouldn't do it for Robin, Courtney, or Sam so I doubt he would do it for Elizabeth. But will he do it for his Son? That's the million dollar question.

Maybe. The mob stories are getting kind of old. I'm not even sure what kind of mob Jason and Sonny are involved with-it isn't drugs or sex trade,is it weapons? Jason is different now because he is a father.
