He was granted bail based on the severity of the charges against him, same as anyone else.

As to whether he needs to be locked up, I may agree, we saw something of the "OJ temper" on the tape, but until he commits a crime without chance of bail, or is convicted of a crime, he's free to walk, just like anybody else.

He didn't want to seem racist.

Conservatives can't lock up Blacks and Minorities (unless they're Chinese Immigrants).

Liberals can't lock up white people because they're perceived as Black and Minority sympathizers (unless they're Chinese Immigrants).

So, based on the spread of Liberal Judges compare to Conservative Judges you have that % working for you whatever way; of course, that is, you are not a Chinese Immigrant.

All I know is that The Juice Is Loose again. He's probably not going to get anything worse than a long term probation when it's all over anyway,so why even worry about it. Besides now they know where some more of his property is,so now Fred Goldman can get some more money, which is all he wants.

why would any Judge?

Last time O J was in trouble and the Police were looking for him
someone spotted him on the Freeway headed toward Mexico with a bag full of cash and a weapon !!!

Seems to me he has a history of taking it on the lamb, on trying to.

Both sides stipulated to the amount...if the prosecution wasn't going to argue, the judge is usually going to accept the rcommendation.
