Don't you think people would relize that driving over certain speeds, on certain roads, in certain areas, isn't a good ideal, or not safe? Or, would everyone drive like speeding crazy maniacs? Like, full throttle, burning up gas like crazy, cutting everyone off, tail gating?

I would absolutely drive faster. At the very least 20 mph faster. And everyone PLEASE pay attention to Old Geez. If you have someone behind you who wants to pass you (and, yes, you CAN tell they do!) move to the right.

Some of the western states (Wyoming and Montana, I think)
didn't have speed limits on highways before the 55 speed limit started and may not now..

The signs said " Drive at a speed that is careful and prudent for conditions"

People for the most part, drove like everywhere else in the US.

i would drive faster probably depending on how good the road was, most people would drive like a bunch of maniacs though and that would make it unsafe to drive at high speeds i have been on roads that wasn't posted and have drove way faster than i should have ,but i do this safely ,never wide open though, that wouldn't be good for any car, that's an every day driver, good luck.

It would be like the Autobaun in Germany, no speed limit. My friend drove up to 120 MPH on there.

Personally, it would depend on the road, weather and traffic conditions. In many cases I would.

As far as the second part of your question, that is what is known as "Common Sense", or more appropriately, "Uncommon Sense". It was Will Rogers that said: " Common Sense is actually a misnomer since so few people possess it."

Slower drivers need to move to the right lane. Don't matter if you're going 100 mph, if the car behind wants to go 110...MOVE OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
